I’m trained in fact-checking and have worked as a freelance fact-checker for Broadsheet Media. This involved editing articles across food, drink, entertainment and travel to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

In 2024, I was mentored and trained in sub-editing through a program run by the Local Independent News Organisation in collaboration with the Community Media Training Organisation. I then worked as a junior sub-editor as part of their sub-editing service for newsrooms.

In 2024, I interned as Assistant Editor at ACMI, where I pitched and wrote articles for ACMI’s editorial output through their Stories & Ideas webpage.

In February 2024, I interned at The Conversation where I pitched, commissioned, edited and published articles on the Business desk.

I’ve also edited podcast scripts while working as a podcast producer, and volunteered as a section editor for The Swanston Gazette.
